It is always great to reflect back over the year and month.
A Great Mentor
This year have continued to enjoy and greatly benefit from having a great mentor…is the below quantitative proof of the power of a good mentor…?
Well, I know correlation is not causation (and there are other factors – such as that I was only speaking part-time until 2015, and I was away on expeditions in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016), but there is certainly a strong link here, as I know that much of the advice Fredrik gave me led both directly and indirectly to me getting booked to give more motivational keynote speeches.
A good mentor not only helps you identify ways to improve, they also help you to believe in your own ability to grow, learn and develop (and when you grow – that is when the results come).
So thank you Fredrik Haren for your insightful and encouraging mentoring about how to be a great keynote speaker, and for demonstrating the power of an abundance mindset in how you live (I know you have powerfully mentored many others too).

Keynote Speech in Delhi
My final keynote speech this year was for the Tata Business Excellence Convention in Delhi, an event attended by 350 of Tata’s top leaders from their 100+ amazing companies. It was an immense privilege to be the speaker who followed an address by the Chairman of the whole group, Mr Chandrasekaran.
When I find myself speaking on the same stage as someone of such calibre, I ask myself: “How on earth did I end up here?!” I guess the answer is at least in part a mixture of “good luck, daring greatly, trying my best…” Below is from the event after-party.
